The 30-minute system that beats AI comments

Hey Reader,

Over on LinkedIn last week, someone made a comment on my post that was so very obviously written by AI. And it really got me wondering: what’s the point?

Do they think it’s convincingly good at writing comments? Do they think any comment is a good comment?

Do they not care?

I suspect it’s actually that they care a great deal, but they’re stuck. They want to show up on social media, but they don’t have the time, or they don’t know what to say.

So they see AI commenting on their behalf as some magical shortcut.

But it’s really a bad look.

So what do you do if LinkedIn (or some other social media) is a core part of your strategy?

It’s important to me that AI doesn't touch any of my content until post-production; I use it to edit/repurpose/process, not create.

I would put commenting squarely in creating. So what you can do is this:

  1. Pick a time each day to dedicate 30 minutes to comments. Make it a time where you don’t work at your best since you don’t need peak focus for commenting.
  2. Make a list (maybe even a bookmarks folder) of 10 people you want to leave comments for.
  3. Come up with 3-5 types of comments you’d leave. Think of it as a sort of ideas swipe file for comments.

This small system for commenting will help you actually show up in a much better way.

To make sure you have some time in your schedule to do this, I recommend checking out the Admin System in Solopreneur Systems Starter Kit.

If you don’t have that already, you can download it here for free.

Until next time,

Joe
